Frequently asked questions
Can I open my Word, Excel and PowerPoint files?
Yes. A .docx file opens as an editable document with its headings, lists, formatting, links, pictures and tables. An .xlsx or .csv file opens as an editable sheet with its formulas, number formats, column widths, merged cells and multiple sheets. A .pptx file opens as an editable presentation with its slides, text, shapes, pictures, tables and speaker notes. Charts, pivot tables, macros, animations, comments and tracked changes are not carried over. You can export back to Word, Excel or PowerPoint at any time.
How does editing together work?
Everyone with access edits the same document, sheet or presentation at once. Changes appear for the others within a moment, even when two people type in the same sentence, and you see who is working where.
Is there a limit on file size?
Each upload can be up to 25 MB on Starter, 50 MB on Growth and 100 MB on Scale, with 10 GB, 100 GB and 500 GB of storage for the team.
